Eveline Bronsdijk, Gemeente Rotterdam Eveline Bronsdijk is advisor for the Roofscape programme for the city of Rotterdam since 2008. The green roofs policy of 2008- 2014 transformed into the multifunctional roofscape policy 2019-2022 to develop 1 km2 of multifunctional roofs in the city in an integrated, resilient and appealing way. The city aims to implement combined solutions for the challenges it faces like climate change and urbanisation. In those twelve years the hesistant attitude of the residents has been transformed into a firm understanding of the value roofs can offer when you add (combined) functions to this unused space. It is both space to add technical solutions and space to add quality of life. Combine those together and you can result into golden combinations. |
